Our answer to safe drinking water
The NOK microfiltration technology relies on hollow fibre membranes that transform undrinkable water into drinkable water.
The membranes are straw-like and are made up of microscopic pores. These are as tiny as 0.2 microns in diameter.
Undrinkable water enters the hollow fibre from the outside, while clean, bacteria-free drinking water passes through the membrane to the center of the hollow fibre.

From the technological perspective NOK water filters demonstrate a log 6 reduction. To be more specific, > 99.9999% of bacteria and parasites, such as Giardia lamblia (Beaver Fever) and Cryptosporidium parvum, as well as bacteria like Campylobacter, Escherichia coli (E-Coli), Vibrio cholerae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Shigella and Salmonella are not permitted to enter the water.
All microplastic particles >0,2 micrometers are retained by NOK’s Microfiltration membranes.
